HOW TO MAKE A RUBBER
STAMP
Rubber Stamp making process consists of 3 operations –
- Print Impression Design
- Impression making on rubber foam
- Assembly of rubber foam with in the Stamp body
In this article we want to explain something about every aspect of stamp
making process.
We prefer Inkscape for designing. Most importantly Inkscape is a free. You can download a
copy from https://inkscape.org/en/
Inkscape is a free and open-source vector graphics editor; it can be used to create or edit vector
graphics such as illustrations, diagrams, line arts, charts, logos and complex
paintings.
Once the designing of the design is done, we print the design on the
rubber foam. This is done with the help of a flash machine.
The rubber foam is then mounted over the outer body of the stamp. After
assembling the rubber foam and outer body the ink is filled in the stamp as per
the prescribed quantity.
The newly made stamp is left over for some hours for the ink to be
absorbed by the rubber foam. After final quality inspection, the stamp is then
dispatched to the customer.
You can refer our videos explaining the process.
